I recently went to cornwall for my holiday and visited perranporth beach on 17th july, it was a warm but overcast day perfect for swimming, so i took a dip in the sea then the tital pool which was lovely, it rained while i was in there but it was warm rain and added to a special day on the beach. Two days later i came down with a very nasty stomach bug and was very ill, spent a whole day in bed. I hadnt eaten anything abnormal and all i can put it down to was swimming in the tidal pool. Was anyone else sick after a visit here i wonder, and is the sea pool checked for bacteria. It did spoil the second half of my holidayy as it took several days to feel back too my old self.
