Located in Feock, on the outskirts of Truro, Trelissick House and Gardens is a beautiful National Trust property, with views over the Fal Estauary.

The estate dates back to the 18th century and has evolved through the hands of various owners, including Thomas Daniel and the Boscowan family, each contributing to its unique character.
The main house is partially open to the public (check National Trust website for opening dates) and showcases a collection of art and historical artifacts, offering a glimpse into its rich past.
The gardens are a highlight, known for their diverse plant species and year-round colour.
This stately home is a perfect day out for National Trust members seeking to explore a piece of Cornwall’s heritage. It’s also home to one of our favourite wild swimming spots near Truro!

Crofters Café
The Crofters Café at Trelissick provides a variety of dining options, including light refreshments, hot lunches, traditional afternoon cream teas, and specially packed lunches for children.
Shopping
The on-site gift shop and at Trelissick offers a wide range of gifts and local products, including a plant center. Additionally, the Cornwall Crafts Association gallery presents a selection of local artisanal crafts.
Second-hand Bookshop
Trelissick’s second-hand bookshop is one of the largest of its kind within the National Trust. All proceeds from the bookshop are directly invested in vital conservation projects at Trelissick.
House Tearoom
Situated with views of the River Fal, the house tearoom serves an assortment of cakes and light refreshments. Availability aligns with the house’s opening times.
